Hi there!

Problem-solver. Problem-creator? Finding inefficiencies and questioning everything seems to be my strong suit, but I'm nothing if not thorough when approaching any project.

My Story

After entering the University of Windsor's engineering program without a clue regarding what I really wanted to do, I specialized in the environmental discipline. I was interested in the chemistry and biology aspect, and wanted to learn about the municipal infrastructure that's currently protecting our environment.

After graduating in the summer of 2019, I entered directly into the industry of environmental consulting where I developed critical office skills very quickly. The fieldwork aspect of compliance monitoring was often taxing but rewarding, and overall I was exposed to a lot of new experiences.

After the COVID-19 pandemic hit and the company started to make cutbacks, I made a tough personal decision to leave my position and begin the Architectural Technology program at St. Clair College, where I quickly developed hard design skills and familiarized myself with various CAD programs and software.  Learning the fundamentals of building design and construction also improved my confidence in understanding the environmental needs of infrastructure, where I felt that my comprehension was lacking with the University's curriculum alone.

I'm on track to graduate in April of 2023, and am always looking for new ways to develop in-demand skills and make connections.  I've just passed my NPPE and am looking to gain both architecture and engineering experience. After graduation I am planning to pursue a LEED certification and potentially a BCIN. I'm also working on developing my own library of standards, as well as interactive workbooks to interpret code and zoning bylaws more efficiently.
